The Blood Covenant Is God's Way For Salvation

Chris Heeb and Rabbi Ed Rothman talk about the Covenants of the Lord and how the "Blood Covenant" was instituted following the fall of man in the garden. So many believers do not know where that shedding of blood came from, and why it was used as an atonement for sin. This is another reason why the Hebraic Root theology is so critical. To start at the beginning of man's creation, and see how the sacrifice of animals played a substitutionary role of forgiveness until the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ upon the cross. Today, we have so-called Christian leaders denying the power and wisdom of the cross. Without the cross we have no hope, we have no forgiveness from our sins, and we have no relationship with a Holy God. The Apostle Paul wrote about the cross in 1 Corinthians chapter one:
Christ the Wisdom and Powerof God
18For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of GodThis Lenten season is a time to reflect upon how God pursued us and gave to us an opportunity to know Him through the act of mercy at the cross.
Good News for Israel is a 134 year old ministry that tells the Story of Jesus through the culture and traditions of the whole Bible. God's story of salvation started wth Abraham, went through Moses, King David and ended with the work on the cross by Jesus Christ. This is our Hebraic root, and it why we are hosting our first annual "Hebraic Root Conference" this fall. The theme of this years conference is, "Reconnecting the Branches to the Root." Marty Goetz will be leading worship, authors Don Finto, Keith Johnson, and Lois Tverberg will be our main speakers. This conference is free and open to the public, but reservations are required because of limited space. For moreinformation or for registration check out our website at: gnfi.org
