Is Jesus Really a Jew?

Rich Pogin and Sandra Teplinsky speak about the Jewishness of Jesus and the importance this has for the church today. Jesus came to fulfill all the covenants or promises God made to Abraham and his descendants, and to establish the New Covenant of Jeremiah 31:31-34. Even, this new covenant was not made with the nations, or the Gentiles, it was made with Israel, and Paul reminds of the fact that Gentiles were grafted in to the vain, or the promises of God. The Church is indebted to the Jews for the plan of salvation as it was initiated through the Jews so the world would have a Savior.
Rich and Sandra have a great dialogue about some of the cultural insights surrounding the Jewishness of Jesus, and it's importance to the theology of the scriptures.
