Good News for Israel is a 133-year-old ministry of education & reconciliation between the Jewish and Christian communities regarding the issue of the Messiah Yeshua/Jesus Christ.
History shows that believers in Jesus were separated from the roots of their faith by the actions of Rabbi Akiva (135 AD) and the Council of Nicaea (325 AD). Additionally,
while many positive things came from the Reformation and the teachings of Luther, his teaching took an anti-Semitic bend in his later years, which many scholars believe
ultimately became the theological foundation of the Holocaust. GNFI will be posting an overview of this soon at
www.gnfi.org/roots.
Paul's teachings clearly show that God had no intention of separating the branches from the roots (See Romans 11 for an example). Rather, it was the objective to unite
the branches and the roots into one new man (See Ephesians 2).
It is Good News for Israel's mission to facilitate this reconciliation of Jew and Gentile into one new man.
