Chris Heeb has been with GNFI since the summer of 1997 and been Executive Director of Good News for Israel for the past 10 years. He has been married for 10+ years to a former YWAM missionary & former LPN, Gina (Johnson) Heeb. They have 3 grade school aged kids who are all home schooled.
Chris was born in Switzerland and moved to America in 1960. He lived in St. Louis park for 3 years before moving to Minnetonka where he attended school. He had an early awareness of the conflict between the Jewish and Christian community 1st hand due to his Jewish looking and sounding surname. He was called a Christ killer and harassed as such since Junior High. He has worked in the tennis and golf fields before coming to work in ministry full time. Over a 3 year process of soul searching, circumstances and study culminating in the fall of 1979, Chris was confronted and convinced with the truth of the scripture and became convinced that Yeshua/Jesus was the Messiah of Israel and the saviour of the world. He was radically changed for the work of the Lord and his life has never been the same.
Chris was a Political Science, History major at the U of M. and is licensed with the International Ministerial Fellowship.
Chris is an avid reader and disciple of Yeshua/Jesus and is relentless on the study of the Hebraic roots of the Faith.
